Since its establishment in 1993, Emaar has contracted with a long list of clients in both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and test medical devices, diagnostic tools, prosthetics, biomaterials, or biomedical systems.
Conduct research to solve clinical problems and improve healthcare outcomes.
Perform engineering analysis (e.g., mechanics, electronics, human factors, signal processing) to evaluate product performance.
Develop prototypes, run experiments, document results, and support iterative design improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, GMP, etc.).
Work with clinicians to identify needs, gather requirements, and translate them into engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment in healthcare settings (depending on role).
Prepare technical documentation including design files, risk assessments, validation reports, and quality-system records.
Use CAD/CAE tools for design and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB, COMSOL).
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production, testing, and quality assurance.
Train healthcare staff on proper use and maintenance of devices
