Interpret and convert
engineering sketches, verbal instructions, and specifications
into technical drawings.
Revise and update drawings based on
engineering changes or client feedback
.
Maintain organized drawing files and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy.
Ensure that all designs comply with
relevant codes, standards, and regulations
.
Assist in the preparation of
Bill of Materials (BOM)
and other technical documentation.
Conduct
quality checks
on drawings before submission for review or approval.
Support the manufacturing or construction team by providing clarifications when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Proven experience (2-3 years) as a
Mechanical Draftsman
or in a similar role.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
SolidWorks
, or similar CAD tools.
Knowledge of
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
.
Strong understanding of
mechanical systems, materials, and fabrication processes
.
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and schematics
.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in industries such as
manufacturing, HVAC, piping, or heavy machinery
.
Familiarity with
ISO, ASME
, or other design standards.
Exposure to
3D modeling and rendering software
.
