AutoCAD Draftsman - 2 [Infrastructure]

Location:

Umm Salal, Qatar

Duration:

3 Months (Extendable based on project needs)

Work Schedule:

6 Days a Week

Working Hours:

7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings for infrastructure projects. Develop layouts, cross-sections, profiles, and utility drawings using

AutoCAD

and

Civil 3D

. Interpret survey data and GIS information to prepare accurate drawings. Support design engineers in preparing shop drawings and as-built documentation. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and engineering standards. Maintain drawing revision logs and proper documentation control. Coordinate with project engineers, survey teams, and site teams as required. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings when required. Support design modifications and drawing updates based on site changes.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting (preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience

as an AutoCAD Draftsman in

infrastructure projects

(roads, drainage, utilities, etc.). Strong knowledge in

AutoCAD

,

Civil 3D

(mandatory). Experience working with

GIS survey data

and coordinate systems. Knowledge of Qatar infrastructure standards (Ashghal/QCS) is an advantage. Good understanding of engineering drawings and survey data. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
