Job Summary

The Waiter is responsible for providing friendly, efficient and attentive service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, menu knowledge, and a positive attitude to maintain guest satisfaction and support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., food ingredients, allergens). Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure correct presentation. Check on guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas. Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in casual dining or full-service restaurant preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude. Basic math and cash handling skills. Presentable, well-groomed, and professional in appearance. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
