Job Description
- Design and create innovative and diverse menus for Continental or Thai cuisine that align with the hotel\'s culinary standards and guest preferences.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day food preparation, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in taste, presentation, and nutritional value.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering, and supervision of kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, and portion control to maximize profitability while maintaining high culinary standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in Continental and Thai cooking techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to create special menus for events and promotions, ensuring a diverse and appealing culinary offering.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and any other relevant legal requirements.
- Proven experience specializing in Continental or Thai cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation styles for both Continental or Thai dishes.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
