Client is seeking an Analyst that will relocate to Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced Epic HIM / 3M Analyst to support and optimize our Health Information Management (HIM) and coding operations in a large healthcare system. This role is responsible for maintaining seamless integration between Epic's HIM module and 3M Health Information Systems (HIS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the clinical documentation and coding workflow.

Responsibilities

Support Epic HIM workflows, including medical record completion, deficiency tracking, release of information (ROI), and chart correction. Administer and maintain 3M applications, including 3M 360 Encompass, Encoder, and Grouper systems. Manage and troubleshoot the integration between Epic and 3M, including HL7/FHIR interfaces that transfer clinical documentation and coded data. Collaborate with HIM, Coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) teams to ensure accurate coding and DRG assignment. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation for both Epic and 3M platforms. Monitor data workflows between Epic and 3M to ensure timely and accurate processing of coded records. Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and workflow guides. Partner with Revenue Cycle and IT teams to optimize coding workflows and improve reimbursement efficiency. Provide end-user support and act as a liaison between HIM operations and IT.

Requirements

Epic HIM certification (Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, or Identity preferred). Experience with 3M HIS applications such as 3M 360 Encompass, Encoder, or Grouper. Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, DRG, and CDI workflows. Strong understanding of HL7 interfaces and data exchange between Epic and external systems. Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
