Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation & Assessment

Conduct detailed client assessments to ensure suitability for Hijama therapy. Explain the procedure, its benefits, precautions, and aftercare instructions. Maintain accurate client records and confidentiality.

2. Hijama (Cupping) Procedures

Perform both dry and wet cupping therapy following recognized professional and safety standards. Prepare and sterilize all tools and treatment areas before each session. Ensure proper infection control and use of single-use equipment. Monitor and ensure client comfort during treatment.

3. Post-Treatment Care

Provide clear aftercare instructions and follow-up when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of each treatment session.

4. Hygiene & Compliance

Adhere to UAE health and safety regulations, clinic protocols, and hygiene standards. Safely dispose of biological waste according to medical waste management procedures.

5. Customer Care & Professionalism

Deliver excellent client service and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor. Promote other wellness and therapeutic services offered by the clinic when appropriate.

6. Continuous Improvement

Keep up to date with new Hijama techniques, tools, and safety updates. Participate in professional development and internal training sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid

DOH / DHA / MOH License

to practice as a Hijama Therapist in the UAE. Minimum

2 years of experience

in cupping therapy or alternative medicine clinic. Certification or formal training in Hijama / Cupping Therapy from a recognized institution. Strong understanding of human anatomy and infection control. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Arabic language

skills are an advantage but

not mandatory
