Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hijama Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the traditional practice of Hijama (wet cupping therapy), adhere to the highest standards of patient care, and comply with the regulations set by the DHA UAE.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform Hijama Therapy: Conduct Hijama (wet cupping) sessions according to established protocols and techniques, ensuring the highest level of hygiene and safety. Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' health conditions to determine their suitability for Hijama therapy, taking into account their medical history and current health status. Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and health goals. Patient Education: Provide patients with detailed information about the benefits, risks, and aftercare of Hijama therapy, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the procedure. Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a sterile environment, using disposable cups and other necessary equipment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of all treatments and patient interactions, in compliance with DHA UAE regulations. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in Hijama therapy and complementary medicine. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide comprehensive care and support to patients. Compliance: Ensure all practices adhere to the standards and guidelines set by the MOH UAE and other relevant health authorities.

Qualifications Required:

Certification: Must possess a valid certification or license to practice Hijama therapy, recognized by the DHA UAE. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in performing Hijama therapy. Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to safely and effectively perform Hijama therapy. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Patient Care: Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to and respect for diverse cultural and religious practices, particularly within the UAE context. Professionalism: High standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all aspects of work.
