Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in highway/road design*
Valid
MMUP/UPDA Certification
(Mandatory) Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalentProfessional Engineering Certification
(Mandatory) Strong proficiency in road design software such as Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads, or similar In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesKey Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the design and development of major highway and roadway projects. Review and approve design documents, drawings, and calculations. Coordinate with internal design teams and external stakeholders including clients and regulatory authorities. Mentor and supervise junior engineers and CAD staff. Conduct technical reviews and participate in project meetings. Provide technical input during project planning, tendering, and construction stages. Conduct site inspections and provide design support during construction as required.
