Should have 8years experience. Preferably 5 years in GCC countries. Shall be well aware of IEEE and IEC and RC standard. Shall have 6years experience in procurement of substation and transmission line project up to 380Kv.Also should have complete knowledge of major equipment procurement procedure for GIS Substation, Double circuit transmission line circuit up to 380kv and underground power cable circuit using 1200sqmm XLPE Cable. Shall have sound knowledge of High voltage GIS Substation equipment like,GIS,Power transformer up to 500MVA,15KV indoor switch gear, control room equipment, SCADA,SOE,EMS,FO Cable circuit, medium voltage cable control circuit, Fire system HVAC and Substation yard equipment. Should know storage, warranty, delivery procedure, PO issue, Manufacturing release procedure, FAT, material submittal for pre-qualification and approval. Shall coordinate with procurement manager at head office for monitoring and delivery of all major equipment as per procurement schedule. Monitoring and coordinating site item for local and major material purchase in a cost-effective manner. Updating of procurement schedule and make sure it is in line with construction schedule. Foresee Material requirement well in advance based on scope of project and design drawing. Carry and material take-up by coordinating with quality engineer/site engineer. Maintenance of inventory for all site equipment and material in systematic procedure and sending update to head office. Client management and updating of procurement schedule to satisfy client. Shall have a degree in electrical engineering.
