BBS follows a US/Canadian curriculum for subjects taught in English; candidates applying for these positions, and, who are holding a North American teaching qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years teaching experience within a North American and/or international school environment, will be given preference.

High School Counselor

Counselor (Grades 9-12)

To implement a comprehensive school counseling program that supports students' personal, career and educational success. Counselors work with school stakeholders, parents, external providers and the wider community to remove barriers that allow students to reach their full potential and their preferred futures. They work in an environment of competing priorities and make complex decisions to both accommodate and prioritize individual student needs. Counselors are aware of the complexities of maintaining accountable practice, confidentiality and at times transparency particularly when working in collaboration to achieve strategic school wide goals.



Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or closely related field
Master's in School Counseling (required)
Counseling License (required)
* 5 years in a similar position
