Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching various subjects, including Mathematics and Science, and will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires effective classroom management, lesson planning, and the ability to engage students in their academic journey.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. Utilize learning technology and instructional design techniques to enhance student understanding and retention of material. Conduct classroom management to maintain a conducive learning environment while addressing diverse student needs, including those requiring special education support. Provide tutoring and mentoring to students to support their academic growth and confidence. Assess student performance through standardized testing and other evaluation methods; provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational strategies that promote student success. Engage in scientific research projects and laboratory experiences that enrich the curriculum and provide hands-on learning opportunities for students. Participate in academic advising and behavior management initiatives to support student well-being.

Experience

Proven experience working with high school students in an educational setting is essential. Familiarity with classroom experience, lesson planning, proofreading, and academic advising is highly valued. Background in higher education teaching or private school experience is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff members. Experience in research laboratory environments or scientific research is beneficial for teaching advanced science courses. Knowledge of Montessori methods or education administration can enhance the teaching approach within our institution.
