Job Description

Job Purpose

To support fabricators, welders, and installation teams in workshop and site activities, ensuring smooth execution of

steel fabrication and erection works

. The Mechanical Helper will handle tools, materials, and assist with preparation, cleaning, and safe operations under the supervision of skilled workers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist fabricators and welders in

cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly

of steel structures. Carry, load, and unload

steel materials, tools, and equipment

safely. Hold, align, and position

beams, channels, angles, and sheets

during fabrication or erection. Provide support in

site installation

Maintain

workshop and site cleanliness

by clearing scrap and organizing tools. Ensure all tools and consumables are available and returned after use. Follow supervisor's instructions and adhere to

safety standards and PPE requirements

. Report unsafe conditions or damaged tools immediately. Perform any other tasks required to assist the production or installation teams.

Skills & Requirements

Basic understanding of

mechanical tools and steel fabrication work

. Physically fit to lift, carry, and move steel sections and equipment. Ability to

work at heights

and outdoors when required. Team player with willingness to learn

fabrication and installation skills

. Strict commitment to

health, safety, and discipline

at workplace.

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school education (preferred but not mandatory). Experience in

steel fabrication or construction sites

is an advantage. Freshers with willingness to learn may also apply.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,200.00 per month
