Job Description

The Construction Helper assists skilled workers and site teams with basic tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities include carrying materials, site cleaning, supporting tradesmen (mason, carpenter, plumber, electrician, etc.), and ensuring smooth daily operations under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload construction materials and tools. Prepare and clean construction sites (sweeping, removing debris, etc.). Assist skilled workers like masons, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers during their tasks. Mix, pour, and spread concrete and mortar as required. Move equipment and materials to appropriate locations on site. Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times. Operate basic hand tools and support equipment under supervision. Assist with scaffolding setup and dismantling. Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or site engineer.

Requirements:

Prior experience in construction sites is preferred (not mandatory). Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic understanding of safety practices on-site. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

Full-time; site-based May require extended hours and weekend work depending on project timelines.
