Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Helper to assist experienced technicians with vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on mechanical experience while working in a safe, structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting Mechanics

: Handing tools, fetching parts, and supporting during complex repairs and overhauls (engines, hydraulics).

Maintenance

: Performing routine tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, lubrication, and brake pad replacements.

Cleaning & Organization

: Keeping the workshop, tools, and equipment clean; managing hazardous waste.

Vehicle Prep

: Washing, fueling, and prepping vehicles for service or dispatch.

Safety

: Following all safety guidelines, operating equipment under supervision, and potentially spotting vehicles.
Skills & Qualifications

Education

: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge

: Basic automotive/mechanical understanding, strong mechanical aptitude.

Skills

: Proficient with hand/power tools, physical strength, dexterity, good communication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Attributes

: Willingness to learn, reliability, and a desire to advance in the field.

With Driving License


Work Environment

Physical

: Involves standing, lifting, bending, working with heavy machinery.

Conditions

: Can be inside/outside, around moving vehicles, and potentially in remote areas with adverse conditions.
