The Helper - Maintenance & Facility assists the maintenance team in carrying out routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company facilities, equipment, and premises. This role is ideal for freshers looking to start a career in maintenance and facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Assistance:
Assist in basic maintenance tasks for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility equipment.
Support technicians in repair, installation, and preventive maintenance work.
Carry tools, equipment, and materials as required for maintenance tasks.
Facility Upkeep:
Help in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining offices, warehouses, and common areas.
Report any damage, defects, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Assist in setting up furniture, fixtures, and equipment when required.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
Ensure adherence to company policies and facility regulations.
Support Tasks:
Assist in inventory management of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
Help with moving items or arranging spaces for events, maintenance schedules, or operational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Freshers are welcome; previous experience in maintenance or facilities is a plus.
Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
Skills & Competencies:
Willingness to learn and take instructions from supervisors.
Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual work.
Attention to detail and safety-conscious.
Team player with good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
On-site work in offices, warehouses, or operational facilities.
