We are looking to hire a Carpenter Helper (joinery) who has good knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements.
Plans organize, schedules supervise and inspects the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates engaged in repair, alteration, and project work requiring the services of carpenters.
Establishes standards for safety and performance for subordinates and inspects quantity and quality of work against these standards.
Performs related work as required. Through knowledge of the carpentry's standard methods, equipment, materials, tools, and practices.
Ability to effectively supervise skilled workers.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to make and project material and labor estimates.Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
