Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, service, and repair heavy vehicles and machinery. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake adjustments, and engine tune-ups. Repair or replace defective parts such as transmissions, axles, brakes, steering mechanisms, and engines. Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are properly completed. Maintain accurate service records and reports. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to ensure timely repairs.
