Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Heavy Vehicle Driver

to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy trucks (such as waste compactors, skip loaders, or hook loaders) to collect and transport materials across various locations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation:

Safely drive and operate heavy vehicles in compliance with Qatar traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Route Management:

Follow assigned schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely collection and disposal of waste.

Maintenance Checks:

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (checking oil, tires, brakes, and hydraulic systems).

Documentation:

Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption, and weight bridge tickets.

Safety:

Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely and that all waste materials are secured during transit to prevent spills or accidents.

Reporting:

Immediately report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the Transport Supervisor.
Mandatory Requirements

Experience:

Minimum

3 years of experience

operating heavy vehicles within Qatar.

License:

Must possess a

Valid Qatar Heavy Equipment Driving License

.

Visa Status:

Must have a

Valid Qatar Residency (QID)

with a

Transferable Visa and NOC

(No Objection Certificate).

Language:

Basic communication skills in English or Hindi/Urdu; Arabic is an advantage.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with Qatar's major roads, industrial areas, and landfill sites (e.g., Mesaieed).
Physical Requirements & Skills

Ability to work outdoors and handle the physical demands of the waste management industry. Strong commitment to road safety and a clean driving record. Professional attitude and ability to follow instructions strictly.
