Key Responsibilities

Safely drive heavy vehicles (e.g. trucks, tippers, dump trucks, flatbeds, articulated vehicles) carrying goods, materials or equipment within Sharjah and other emirates as required. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips: check brakes, tyres, lights, fluid levels, load securing, etc., to ensure safety and roadworthiness. Plan routes in advance based on delivery schedules, traffic, road conditions, and UAE road regulations; adapt routes as necessary. Load and unload cargo, ensure proper securing of load to avoid shifting during transit. Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documents, fuel usage records, vehicle inspection reports. Comply with all UAE traffic laws, Sharjah municipality and transport authority regulations. Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues. Perform minor maintenance checks and report faults to maintenance team. Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure appearance and safety standards. Ensure cargo is delivered safely, undamaged, and on time.
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid

Heavy Vehicle Driver's License

appropriate for the category of vehicle: e.g., UAE approved

Heavy Truck / HGV License

. Minimum 5 years of experience driving heavy vehicles within the UAE (or in similar GCC environment) -- familiarity with UAE roads, highways, and inter-emirate travel. Good knowledge of Sharjah area roads, major routes (e.g. E-routes, Emirates Roads), local regulations, traffic conditions and permit requirements. Demonstrable safe driving record; no major traffic violations. Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading duties, long hours, driving in different weather conditions. Ability to read road maps, GPS units; use mobile / radio communications as needed. Basic Arabic or English language skills for communication and understanding regulations. punctuality, reliability, responsibility.
