Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Heavy Vehicle Driver

to operate and maintain heavy transport vehicles, including

double trailers

. The ideal candidate must hold a valid

Heavy Vehicle Driving License

, have a strong track record in long-distance or industrial transport, and possess

basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy vehicles, including

double trailers

, in a safe and responsible manner. Transport goods/materials to designated locations on schedule. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Perform basic maintenance checks and identify vehicle issues (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels, brake function). Report any major mechanical problems or required repairs to the maintenance team. Comply with all traffic regulations, safety procedures, and company transport policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle logs. Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo. Follow assigned routes and schedules as directed by the Transport Supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid

Heavy Vehicle Driving License

(as per local government requirements). Minimum

3-5 years

of experience driving heavy vehicles, including

double trailers

. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport guidelines. Basic understanding of vehicle systems and ability to perform minor troubleshooting. Physically fit with the ability to work long hours and in different weather conditions. Ability to read and understand delivery instructions, GPS, and transport documentation. Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and time management.
