Heavy Vehicle Driver
Job Description
Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks) in a safe and professional manner.
Transport goods or materials to designated locations following assigned routes and schedules.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage or accidents.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel, and delivery information as required by regulations.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
Assist with minor roadside repairs when necessary.
Qualification
Valid heavy vehicle driving license.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
