We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations within the UAE, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Heavy Vehicles: Safely drive heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations within the UAE.
Loading and Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations regarding size, weight, route designations, and parking.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any incidents.
Communication: Coordinate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a heavy truck driver within the UAE.
License: Valid UAE heavy truck driver license (Category 4).
Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations.
Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE road networks, traffic rules, and regulations.
