To perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Heavy Trucks and Buses, diesel engines and complete mechanical systems for buses and trucks, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Heavy Trucks and Buses,
diesel engines
, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems.
Conduct regular
preventive maintenance
on buses and trucks as per manufacturer standards.
Repair and replace
clutches, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, steering systems
, and drivetrain components.
Perform
engine overhauling
, differential, calibration, and tuning when required.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and prepare job cards and service reports.
Troubleshoot
hydraulic systems
, air brake systems, compressors, and related components.
Ensure all work is done safely, efficiently, and within allocated time.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment in the workshop.
Coordinate with the service advisor and workshop supervisor for job updates.
Follow company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heavy Trucks and Buses
Diesel Mechanic
specializing in all types of buses and heavy trucks.
Strong knowledge of
diesel engines
, mechanical systems, and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
Familiarity with
air brake systems
, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
Physically fit and able to work in workshop conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Technical certification in automobile/diesel mechanics preferred.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
UAE experience in bus/truck repair is an added advantage.
