Job Description
Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport large shipping containers to various sites, including customer locations and ports. Load and unload containers, sometimes utilizing crane-mounted trucks, and ensure they are properly secured for transit. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, documenting any issues, and reporting them for maintenance. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies, with a strong focus on safety and safe driving practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Valid UAE Driver's License Experience: Previous experience as a container truck driver or in a similar heavy trucking role is often required. Strong Driving Skills: Proficient in operating large trucks, including performing complex maneuvers in tight spaces. Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safe driving practices and environmental protection.
