Job Description

Experience required : 2+ years as UAE Heavy Duty Driver Operate heavy trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to assigned destinations. Ensure timely delivery and collection of cargo as per the logistics schedule. Follow assigned routes and comply with delivery instructions provided by the dispatch or transport manager. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Check fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and other essential components to ensure roadworthiness. Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the maintenance department. Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, fuel receipts, and inspection reports. Ensure all transport documents (delivery notes, invoices, etc.) are properly signed and returned. Adhere to all company policies, UAE transport regulations, and road safety rules. Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage or loss. Secure loads using appropriate safety equipment (straps, locks, etc.). Verify cargo quantity and condition during pick-up and delivery. Drive responsibly and maintain a clean driving record. Follow all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety protocols. Refrain from any behavior that could risk personal safety or company reputation. Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and warehouse staff during trips. Report any delays, accidents, or route deviations immediately. Cooperate with security and customs personnel during inspections. Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition. Return company property (vehicle, fuel card, documents, etc.) upon request or at the end of employment.
