Job Description

Job Purpose:

To operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently for the transport of goods, materials, or equipment across various locations in the UAE. The driver is responsible for adhering to traffic laws, conducting routine vehicle checks, and ensuring timely deliveries based on company schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy trucks (trailers, tankers, flatbeds, etc.) to transport cargo as assigned. Follow designated routes and ensure timely delivery of materials or goods. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Report any mechanical issues, delays, or accidents to the supervisor promptly. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, deliveries, and cargo condition. Comply with all UAE road safety regulations and company policies. Work collaboratively with site teams or warehouse staff when required. Plan routes efficiently, considering traffic patterns and road conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid UAE

Heavy Vehicle Driving License

(e.g., Category 4). Minimum

2 years of experience

driving heavy trucks in the UAE or GCC.

Ability to speak and understand English

(required for communication and safety compliance). Knowledge of UAE roads, highways, and traffic regulations. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Physically fit and capable of handling long hours and loading tasks when needed. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks. Multilingual skills (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu) are an advantage.

Working Conditions:

May involve early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and overtime. Travel across various Emirates; long-distance routes may be required. Accommodation, transport, and medical insurance may be provided depending on the employer.
