Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Heavy Truck Driver

to join our logistics team in a steel manufacturing facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

safe and timely transport of heavy steel materials

, equipment, and finished products between factory units, warehouses, and client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers (flatbed/low-bed) to transport

steel coils, pipes, structural materials, or machinery

. Ensure

safe loading and unloading

of cargo using cranes, forklifts, or manual methods (in coordination with warehouse staff). Conduct

pre-trip and post-trip inspections

of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects. Maintain

accurate delivery records

, logbooks, and delivery receipts. Comply with

UAE traffic laws, factory safety protocols

, and transport regulations. Adhere to

factory schedules

, meet delivery deadlines, and report delays or emergencies. Monitor the

condition of cargo

, especially fragile or oversized loads, during transportation. Assist in

routine vehicle maintenance

(oil check, tire pressure, cleaning, etc.) or schedule servicing when needed. Coordinate with

logistics coordinators and dispatch teams

to plan daily routes and delivery priorities.

Job Requirements:

Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License

(Category 4 or equivalent)
?

Minimum 3-5 years

of experience as a heavy truck driver in the UAE or GCC, preferably in

industrial, steel, or construction sectors

? Good understanding of

safe cargo handling procedures

, especially for steel and metal products
? Knowledge of

route planning

, GPS, and transport documentation
? Physically fit and able to handle long working hours if required
? Basic English or Hindi communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
? Familiarity with

UAE roads and industrial delivery protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a

steel factory or industrial logistics environment

Experience driving

low-bed trailers, flatbeds, and long-haul trucks

Knowledge of

vehicle weight limits and cargo securement
