Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a

dedicated and experienced Heavy Truck Driver

to join our logistics and transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods across assigned routes within the UAE, ensuring adherence to all national traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation:

Safely and efficiently operate a heavy truck (e.g., trailer, flatbed, or heavy-duty vehicle) to transport goods to scheduled destinations.

Route Management:

Plan and follow the most efficient routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Cargo Management:

Oversee the proper loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring all goods are secured correctly to prevent damage during transit.

Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections (visual, mechanical, safety checks) on the truck and trailer, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate logbooks, trip records, delivery receipts, and all other necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, and any on-road incidents.
Requirements

Experience:

Minimum

2 years

of verified professional experience as a Heavy Truck Driver.

License:

Must possess a valid

UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License

.

Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of UAE road networks, traffic laws, and safety regulations.

Skills:

Proven ability to drive long hours and manage demanding physical and environmental conditions.

Attributes:

Punctual, reliable, physically fit, and a strong commitment to safety.

Background:

Clean driving record (MVR).
