Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and adherence to transportation regulations.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries. Report any mechanical problems or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Keep the truck clean and well-maintained, both inside and out. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a heavy truck driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety. Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and best practices for safe driving. Ability to operate heavy trucks in various weather and road conditions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
