Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Heavy Duty Mechanic

to join our transportation company. The ideal candidate will have

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience

in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles, with strong expertise in

Caterpillar Dozers (D6 & D8), Komatsu equipment, and Mercedes heavy vehicles

. Preference will be given to candidates who are

available to join immediately

.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles. Service and repair Caterpillar Dozers D6 & D8, Komatsu machinery, and Mercedes trucks. Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Identify mechanical faults and provide effective repair solutions. Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards. Coordinate with operations and fleet teams for timely repairs. Respond to breakdowns on-site and in the workshop as required.
Requirements & Qualifications

5 to 8 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in a transportation or construction environment. Proven experience with Caterpillar (D6 & D8), Komatsu, and Mercedes heavy vehicles. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic reports. Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site environments. Good communication skills in basic English (Arabic is an advantage). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills

Experience in fleet maintenance for transportation companies. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs. Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
