Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Inspection and Diagnostics

Perform routine inspections of heavy equipment and machinery. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues. Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand system functions.
2.

Maintenance and Repairs

Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Repair or replace faulty components (e.g., engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes). Weld or fabricate parts as needed to complete repairs.
3.

System Servicing

Maintain and repair systems including:

Hydraulic systems

Pneumatic systems

Electrical and electronic systems

Powertrains and drivetrains

Ensure machinery complies with safety and performance standards.
4.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Complete job cards, inspection sheets, and maintenance logs. Report major faults or required parts to supervisors or procurement teams.
5.

Tool and Equipment Management

Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting machinery safely and properly. Ensure tools and equipment are stored and maintained in good condition.
6.

Safety and Compliance

Follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Keep the work area clean and hazard-free.
7.

Teamwork and Communication

Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors. Communicate equipment status and repair needs clearly and accurately.

Additional Responsibilities (Depending on Industry or Company):

Operate heavy machinery for testing or moving. Train junior technicians or apprentices. Participate in continuous improvement and equipment upgrade initiatives.

Pay: AED3,300.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
