Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation

: Drive heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, trailers) to transport goods to designated locations within the UAE.

Route Planning

: Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.

Cargo Handling

: Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent shifting during transit.

Vehicle Maintenance

: Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure. Report any mechanical issues promptly.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel consumption records, and delivery receipts.

Safety Compliance

: Adhere to all UAE traffic laws, weight limits, and safety regulations.

Customer Interaction

: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouses, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensing

: Valid UAE Driving License No. 3,4,6 (Heavy Vehicle).

Experience

: Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Heavy Driver in the UAE.

Knowledge

: Familiarity with UAE roads, traffic laws, and safety regulations.

Physical Fitness

: Ability to handle long-distance driving and perform manual tasks, such as loading and unloading cargo.

Communication Skills

: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus.

Health

: Physically fit and able to endure long hours and varying weather conditions.
