: Safely operate a heavy bus, along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Route Familiarity
: Maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned routes, including stops, schedules, and alternate routes in case of detours or road closures.
Vehicle Maintenance
: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure that it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
Record Keeping
: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, passenger counts, and any incidents or accidents.
Adherence to Policies
: Follow company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.
Emergency Response
: Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies, such as accidents, medical incidents, or vehicle breakdowns, following established protocols and ensuring safety.
Flexibility
: willing to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the transportation service.
