Operate heavy buses safely and efficiently according to assigned routes or schedules
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit
Follow traffic rules, company policies, and road safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus
Assist passengers, including elderly or disabled individuals, when required
Collect fares or verify tickets if applicable
Maintain accurate trip logs and records
Requirements and Qualifications:
Valid Heavy Vehicle or Bus Driving License
Proven experience as a heavy bus driver
Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Good communication and customer service skills
Physically fit with good vision and hearing
Clean driving record
Preferred Skills:
Defensive driving skills
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Ability to handle emergencies calmly
Knowledge of local routes and geography
Working Conditions:
Long hours of driving
Exposure to traffic, weather conditions, and varying schedules
