Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, including children and seniors, while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff. A background in childcare or senior care is preferred, as well as mechanical knowledge to assist with minor vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus or vehicle to transport passengers to designated locations. Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Assist passengers in boarding and alighting from the bus, providing support as needed. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns. Document any incidents or issues that occur during transportation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience working with children or seniors is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse passenger groups. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is preferred. Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records as required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
