Looking at the challenges the world is facing today Philips’ purpose has never been more relevant. You will design solutions based on performance data, first-hand review and analysis, customer feedback and industry best practices. You will identify performance improvement opportunities for Philips customers, and architects/design solutions to address customers’ needs using technologies and services from Philips and potentially external partners. You will develop the solution with other domain experts while matching the customer requirements and willingness to pay. And you will applies expertise to the sales process concerning services and the level of effort in an engagement to assure customer success and positive business results. You are responsible for:
  • Designing solution architect with Philips system, software and service, determine the solution selection, analyze business capability, support activities related to professional service delivery, portfolio management and manage architecture risk to support Philips’ transformation and professional business growth.
  • Serving as the technical resource for implementing solutions that require analysis of situations or data, and an in-depth knowledge of the solution.
  • Providing technical review of system configurations to ensure viability of system performance.
  • Preparing site assessments.
  • Preparing as-built drawings to document work completed during project or particular job.
  • Demonstrating skills of an IT professional with an in-depth understanding of the Philips' products, apply IT industry practices, and company policies and procedures.
  • Designing customer solutions that requiring analysis of situations and comprehension of customer’s need and expectations; and deliver the projects with complete understanding on how the solutions can address to customer’s pain points.
  • Exercising independent judgment to adapt to typical variances in the customer environment for obtaining effective results.
  • Properly completing assigned project activities with responsibility for results within project work estimates and defined delivery methods
  • Providing technical support for pre-sales, project implementation and post-sales consultation and support.
  • Working in conjunction with internal Project Managers, Clinical Application Consultants, Service Engineers and related business third parties.
  • Collaborating with Solution Sales to assist in the solution selling and tender bidding process.
You will be reporting to the Professional Service Manager and be part of the HealthSystems Professional Service, Software & Solutions Delivery META team To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline
  • Healthcare experience is preferable
  • Experience of working with multiple and complex projects to quality, time and budget
  • Experience in working in project teams and in the constructing of customer solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
  • Proven ability to understand and influence stakeholders within and across the function, building trust and driving the change agenda leveraging both the formal and the informal elements of the organization
  • Proven ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as the circumstances change, without jeopardizing the end goals and the achievement of the strategic objectives
  • Understanding of DICOM, HL7, IHE
  • Windows Servers experience
  • MS Office (PPT and Visio)
  • Virtualization technologies (HyperV, VMWare)
  • Storage technologies (SAN, NAS, etc.)
  • Databases experience
  • Networking experience
  • Informatic systems workflows
  • Experience with enterprise architecture
  • Experience working with IT architecture frameworks
  • Experience of IT security, infrastructure, and governance
  • Familiar with Agile practices
  • ITIL certification would be a plus
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (a must have)
