Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women's and children's hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women's Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.
About the Role:
We are currently hiring a Healthcare Aide to join our clinical teams at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, a world-class women's and children's hospital in Abu Dhabi supporting NICU, PICU, Obstetrics, and Pediatric Urgent Care services.The Healthcare Aide supports the delivery of safe, compassionate, and holistic patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed clinician. The role assists with daily patient needs, supports clinical workflows, and contributes to a culture of safety, dignity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Support nurses and clinicians in delivering patient-centered care
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), hygiene, and comfort needs
Help with meal distribution and basic patient support tasks
Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly
Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Assist with patient and family education support activities
Promote a safe and clean care environment
Follow infection control and safety standards
Respond appropriately to emergencies within scope of practice
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Respect cultural and language differences in patient care Qualifications:
High School Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field
Previous healthcare or patient support experience preferred
Good English communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
Basic computer skills
Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
