This role assists in delivering holistic care under the supervision of a registered nurse or clinician while ensuring effective communication within the interdisciplinary team. It promotes continuous improvement in patient care through research, evidence-based practice, and skill development within the specialty. Additionally, it supports the safe, efficient, and effective management of the department with allocated resources
Responsibilities

• Adheres to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical codes while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Supports clinical staff in delivering patient-centered care, ensuring dignity, safety, and advocacy for vulnerable individuals while reporting any concerns.
• Works under nursing supervision alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide effective, individualized patient care and communicates effectively.
• Engages in ongoing professional development, evaluates personal performance, and contributes to an innovative culture of operational efficiency.
• Assists in educating patients and families, ensuring access to necessary information and resources to meet healthcare needs.
• Uses verbal and non-verbal methods to communicate effectively, respects cultural differences, and ensures accessibility to language support.
• Complies with health and safety policies, identifies risks, reports hazards, and participates in safety programs and investigations.
• Maintains professional boundaries, upholds confidentiality, ensures proper resource utilization, and promotes trust through compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Highschool Degree or Diploma in related field
• 3-5 years' of experience in a Hospital
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Competent with computers
