The Healthcare Administrator plays a key role in managing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the delivery of high-quality virtual care services. This role bridges clinical, technical, and administrative workflows to ensure a smooth and efficient telehealth experience for patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily telehealth operations, including appointment scheduling, patient onboarding, and provider coordination.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA or regional equivalents), and telemedicine standards.
Monitor performance metrics such as patient satisfaction, wait times, and service efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve platform issues, optimize workflows, and implement system updates.
Manage provider credentialing, licensing, and quality-assurance documentation.
Develop and update telehealth protocols, operational policies, and best practices.
Train staff on telehealth systems, patient communication tools, and administrative procedures.
Handle patient inquiries, escalations, and service-related concerns.
Support billing processes, insurance verification, coding accuracy, and revenue-cycle documentation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, and customer-support departments.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field.
Experience in telehealth, digital health, or clinical operations preferred.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Tech-savvy with the ability to use telemedicine platforms, EMRs, and data-reporting tools.
