OFSE Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager is expected to demonstrate capacity and accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives in the designated area of responsibility. OFSE Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager is expected to own and facilitate the 100% implementation of BH HSE processes that meet business needs across their area of responsibility and drive Interdependent HSE culture creation, manage complex issues within HSE area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

As OFSE HSE Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading OFSE Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs, initiate and influence integration and operationalization of HSE procedures and policies into the business through good personal knowledge of Baker Hughes procedures and standards Overseeing specific aspects of health, safety and environmental programs to maintain full compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal and external business requirements and driving continuous improvement Influencing and mentor OFSE leadership toward the strengthening of an Interdependent HSE Culture through regular interpersonal communications and interactions, Develop, prepare and present regular updates to OFSE leadership on key HSE performance indicators (both lagging and leading) Performing self-assessments, audits and regular inspections to assure conformance with Baker Hughes HSE management system requirements,Oversee employee health and wellbeing programs including fit-for-duty (FRAME), chemical risk assessment, respiratory protection, ergonomics, hearing protection and malaria and/or travel health risks Maintaining HSE expertise to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and provide technical and regulatory support to operation's team and managing compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems Ensuring effective HSE training programs are in place and properly executed including Onboarding and Short Service programs. Conduct periodic checks on existing training programs and arrangements within OFSE Product Lines and recommend actions for any identified gaps,Provide technical guidance and training at the OFSE level such as HSE Leadership training, What Lies Beneath etc Developing local, area specific (Tier 3-4) procedures based on regulatory and/or client and/or area specific requirements and challenges,Ensure that compliance Providing input to and manage HSE department budget

To be successful in this role you will:

Omani National with Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Have minimum of 10 years of HSE experience Have NEBOSH certification or diploma or equivalent Have minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role Have Good project management skills and problem solving skills
