About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking a

HSE Inspector

to join our team on a major pumping station project involving underground structures in Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects and ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across multiple work areas.

Key responsibilities are listed, but not limited to

Monitoring the safety performance of contractors on site. Ensuring compliance with occupational health standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participating in internal safety reviews and site inspections. Assisting in incident investigations and reporting. Checking adherence to permit-to-work systems. Delivering or arranging specialist HSE training sessions. Supporting the H&S Specialist in implementing health and safety standards on site. Preparing detailed site safety reports for management review.

Candidate specifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Health, or Environmental studies from a recognized institution approved by the Engineer. Extensive

relevant experience

in the construction of deep underground reinforced concrete structures, preferably in large-diameter tunneling and drainage network projects. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and internal teams. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Site-based role with coverage across multiple work areas.
