Health Care Senior Accountant

Job Description
ACCOUNTANT ? HEALTHCARE BACKGROUND We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to work full-time in a medical Centre in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsibilities
- Handle entire accounting activities up to the finalization of accounts.
- Manage all monthly closing procedures in ERP including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Project Costing, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Payroll processing
- Performing all bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions related the healthcare.
- Follow up insurance payments/procedures from Insurance companies.
- Knowledge about UAE VAT and FTA procedures /compliance related healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Coordinate with the external auditors in completing the statutory audit requirements.
