Job Description

The Health Care Quality Executive is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality improvement initiatives and patient safety strategies within a healthcare organization. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, enhances clinical outcomes, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:



Quality Management & Improvement

Develop and lead quality improvement programs aligned with organizational goals. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, including clinical indicators, patient satisfaction, and process efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions using evidence-based practices.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with standards from bodies such as DOH and JCI. Lead preparation for audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Safety

Oversee incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Promote a culture of safety and transparency. Collaborate with clinical teams to implement risk reduction strategies.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and present data related to quality and safety. Prepare dashboards and reports for senior leadership and external agencies. Utilize health information systems and tools for performance tracking.

Training & Development

Educate staff on quality improvement principles, patient safety protocols, and best practices. Facilitate workshops and training sessions.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Work with clinical, administrative, and operational teams to drive quality initiatives. Engage stakeholders in quality and safety planning and implementation.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (required) Master's degree in Healthcare Management or Quality (preferred) Certification in Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ) or Patient Safety (preferred) 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality or related field Strong knowledge of quality frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA) Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills:



Experience with EMRs and health analytics platforms Familiarity with ISO, JCI, accreditation processes Project management experience Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
