Job Description

Al Taie Primary Health Care Center is seeking a

dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant

to support our medical and nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. The Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily needs, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist nurses and doctors with basic patient care and clinical duties. Support patients with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and comfort. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments. Take and record basic vital signs under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and patient areas. Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times. Assist in transporting patients within the facility when required. Refill medical supplies and report shortages. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families. Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements

High school certificate or equivalent (Healthcare Assistant training is an advantage). Previous experience in a healthcare facility is preferred. Basic knowledge of patient care, hygiene, and safety procedures. Good communication skills in

English

(Arabic is an advantage). Physically fit to assist patients with movement and daily activities. Caring, responsible, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
