Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, practices and action plans to ensure corporate sustainable development
Co-ordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy to ensure compliance with environmental legislation
Audit, analyse and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies
Carry out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organisation\'s environmental risks and financial costs
Promote, raise awareness and train staff at all levels on environmental issues and responsibilities
Negotiate environmental service agreements and manages associated costs and revenues.
Keeping up to date with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation where applicable
Producing educational or information resources for internal staff, clients or the general public
Liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency.
Devising the best tools and systems to monitor performance and to implement strategies
Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
Assessing, analysing and collating environmental performance data and reporting information to internal staff, clients and regulatory bodies
Managing environmental strategy budgets
Liaising with internal staff including senior managers and directors
Writing plans and reports
Work in accordance of global environment policy
Liaise with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies
Safety Health Environment
Participate in the development of Health and Safety internal policies, procedures and working practices.
Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies for facilitating employee health and safety risks
Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate and present at all levels.
Team Management Skills
Strong networking and relationship buildings.
Bachelors or Post graduate degree in relevant field
A degree in one of the following subjects is preferred
