With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Pool & Beach Head Waiter to join the Food & Beverage team at The One&Only the Palm Hotel in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort\'s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our guests and colleagues. Where you will be responsible in assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain resort standards, leads, supervises and motivates his/her staff in all aspects of service to the highest professional standards with care and attention to detail and in accordance to the standard operating procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

\xef\x82\xa7 Presents oneself in a way that enhances the guest\'s overall experience by adding life and energy to the outlet.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensures that all mise- en place is correctly prepared prior to commencing service.
\xef\x82\xa7 Prepares all food and beverage requests within the time parameters set by the resort and always displays attributes of genuine hospitality.
\xef\x82\xa7 Demonstrates excellent product knowledge of all food and beverage items offered at the resort, and other items provided by the outlet.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensures that the design and layout of the restaurant and bar equipment is flawless and reflects the image of the resort.
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintains and creates a working environment that reflects a sense of place.
\xef\x82\xa7 Delegates responsibilities to service personnel, and ensures tasks are completed.
\xef\x82\xa7 Presents oneself in a professional manner.
\xef\x82\xa7 Remains updated on all resort happenings, including guests in- house, arrivals and departures, as well as daily events.
\xef\x82\xa7 Reports incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance to Team Leader / Supervisor
\xef\x82\xa7 Attends and participates in all allocated team events.
\xef\x82\xa7 Participates in required training related to the job.
\xef\x82\xa7 To effectively communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleges at all levels.
\xef\x82\xa7 Always ensure a professional attitude towards guests and colleges.
\xef\x82\xa7 To be conscious and responsible regarding energy and water conservation.
\xef\x82\xa7 Always maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene.
\xef\x82\xa7 To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas.

Suitable candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years\' experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment. Strong F&B knowledge is a must. Should have excellent personal and interpersonal skills. Should be able to build strong relationship with high profile and diverse clientele. Should be a dynamic team player and able to provide the highest standard of service to our guests. Excellent communication in English language is required and an additional language will be highly regarded.
