Maintain a calm, courteous, and polished demeanor at all times
Food & Beverage Knowledge
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, seasonal offerings, and chef specials
Understand wine varietals, regions, vintages, and pairing principles
Communicate dietary restrictions and allergies accurately to the kitchen
Stay informed about menu changes and service updates
Service Standards & Etiquette
Follow fine dining service techniques (e.g., table-side service, plate presentation, silent service)
Ensure tables are properly set according to fine dining standards
Clear and reset tables efficiently and discreetly
Uphold grooming, uniform, and personal hygiene standards
Teamwork & Operations
Work collaboratively with hosts, bartenders, sommeliers, and kitchen staff
Assist fellow servers during peak service periods
Participate in pre-service briefings and ongoing training
Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations
