Head Radiologist Consultant

Job Description

AMI Healthcare is a leading international hospital management corporation currently operating hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a Consultant in Medical Imaging/Radiology to join our medical team for a brand new 120-bed tertiary care private hospital in Al Baha, KSA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical services (including consulting, examining, diagnosing and treating patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses), regardless of age or sex, on a continuing basis.
  • Collect, record and maintain accurate patient information such as: appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan.
  • Responsible for timely completion, competencies, accuracy and eligibility of medical records.
  • Order and execute various tests including lab, analyses and diagnostic images to determine the condition of the patient.
  • Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnose condition of patient and manage an immediate. treatment plan for patient and provides advice on follow up.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, suturing and splinting for the patient.
  • Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
  • Refer patients to appropriate tertiary care specialists when necessary for the patient’s well-being.
  • Expect to see a minimum of patients daily.
  • Provide orientation, guidance and supervision to other medical staff below Consultant level.
  • Follow medical procedure protocols.
  • Perform other clinical responsibilities related to medical specialty.
  • Participate in education and training programs.
  • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • American Board Certification, Facharzt, Royal College of Psychiatry, Arab Board OR equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ clinical experience.
  • Must have valid current license in the city /state / province of which you are practicing.
  • Eligible for licensing by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Previous international experience is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
