NON-OPERATED OIL DEVT & TECH SUPPORT
Primary purpose of job
To manage the QP Resources Assurance and Reporting Team, responsible for the assuring, gathering, and reporting of
QP's Resource Volumes and accountable for delivering QP's Annual Review of Resources (ARR). Delivers a training
programme to both technical staff and management to ensure that the Resource estimates submitted in the ARR are
compliant with the QP-PRMS. Acting as secretary to the QP Resource Committee (RC) and keeps senior management
regularly informed of material resource volume updates and changes.
Experience & Skills
1. At least 15 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience and Economics
2. 10 years' experience in Resource estimation, documentation, estimate justification and defence, submission and
reporting.
3. Recognised expert in Reserves and Resources definitions (SPE PRMS).
4. Strong understanding of finance, economics and legal issues associated with Reserves and Resources estimation.
5. Leadership experience and demonstrated stakeholder's engagement skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to address and resolve misalignment in a satisfactory way.
Education

  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or related discipline.
